Blueberry Picking Adventure – Life Skills, Health Education & Community Inclusion
Program Description
Participants enjoy an inclusive blueberry-picking experience at a local farm where they learn about agriculture, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles while building independence, communication, and social skills. Through harvesting blueberries, exploring the farm, and participating in educational discussions about farming and healthy eating, participants reinforce developmental and therapeutic goals while enjoying meaningful outdoor recreation. Activities are adapted to support individuals of all abilities in a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment.
