Program Description

Participants enjoy an inclusive visit to a local farmers market where they explore fresh fruits and vegetables, locally produced foods, handmade goods, and community vendors while learning about nutrition, agriculture, healthy lifestyles, and supporting local businesses. Through shopping, interacting with vendors, and participating in educational activities, participants build independence, communication, financial literacy, and social skills while reinforcing developmental and therapeutic goals. Activities are adapted to support individuals of all abilities in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community environment.
