Petting Zoo Experience – Life Skills, Health Education & Community Inclusion

Program Description

Participants enjoy an inclusive visit to a petting zoo where they safely interact with farm animals while building confidence, communication skills, independence, and compassion. Through hands-on experiences, guided animal encounters, feeding opportunities, and educational activities, participants reinforce developmental and therapeutic goals while learning about animal care, agriculture, healthy living, and responsible community participation. Activities are adapted to support individuals of all abilities in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
