Splash Pad Adventure – Water Safety, Life Skills & Healthy Active Play
Program Description
Participants enjoy an inclusive visit to a local splash pad where they engage in active water play, cooperative games, and outdoor recreation in a safe and accessible environment. Through movement, sensory exploration, social interaction, and water safety education, participants build confidence, independence, healthy lifestyle habits, and community participation skills while reinforcing developmental and therapeutic goals. Activities are adapted to support individuals of all abilities and encourage fun, active learning. Many Porter County families enjoy splash pads such as Founders Square in Portage and the splash pad in downtown Valparaiso.
